Prince William admitted he was not “in a calm state” during his first public appearance at the 2026 British Academy Film Awards in London, just days after his uncle, former Prince Andrew, was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Speaking on the red carpet, he said he hasn’t been able to watch the film Hamnet yet because of his unsettled mindset.
