Pound Stays Steady Before ECB Rate Decision

Currency traders saw little movement in sterling as attention turned to decisions and signals from Europe that could affect borrowing costs and exchange rates. On Thursday, the pound stayed near 86.3 pence against the euro ahead of a European Central Bank meeting, while markets awaited comments from Christine Lagarde. Sterling also held at $1.3357 against the dollar.
