Pound rises against the dollar after crude oil prices fall 9%

A barrel of Brent crude now costs $87.84 because America and Iran stopped their military strikes over the weekend. Investors are also feeling positive about the new government, with Prime Minister Andy Burnham promising to protect financial services.
