Police chiefs urge Burnham to block PC Harper killers' early release

Fifty police leaders across the UK have urged Prime Minister Andy Burnham to prevent PC Andrew Harper's killers from being released early. Jessie Cole and Albert Bowers were sentenced to 13 years for manslaughter and were due to be freed in January. Burnham said on Tuesday he has instructed the justice secretary to find more prison spaces to prevent their release.
