Essex Police has apologised to musician Paul Hardcastle, known for the hit 19, after body camera footage showed three officers joking about the death of his son. Paul Jr, 35, died in January when his motorcycle hit a van during a police pursuit near Ongar. The officers, who arrived after the crash, were given reflective practice, the lightest sanction, and a senior officer has apologised.
