Pentagon investigates after China obtains parts from F-35 stealth fighter jet
The Pentagon is investigating a "shipment issue" after parts for its most advanced F-35 fighter jet were diverted to Hong Kong. The components, including a cockpit canopy and weapons-bay door, were reportedly on their way from Australia to the US for repair or disposal. On Tuesday, Australia's Defence Minister, Richard Marles, stated that the components were not classified as sensitive equipment.
