Peak District accused of selling out to Skoda

The Peak District National Park Authority struck a sponsorship deal with carmaker Skoda, adding branding to entrance welcome signs. Campaign groups called the move a sellout and asked what else in the park could go to the highest bidder. The authority said the deal brings in badly needed income as park funding remains tight, though critics want commercial branding kept off protected countryside.
