Panama-flagged container ship reportedly hit by US missile

The Panama-flagged container ship, Vela Nova, sustained a missile impact in the Gulf of Oman, 71 nautical miles from Pakistan's coast, on Tuesday, August 11. Maritime security sources cited by Reuters and British group Vanguard believe the vessel was hit. The missile was reportedly fired by US forces for crossing the American blockade.
