Strong earthquake hits western Colombia, no major damage reported
A powerful 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck western Colombia on Monday, causing tremors to be felt across several cities. The earthquake originated at a depth of 107 kilometres, with its epicentre located in San José del Palmar, approximately 280 kilometres west of Bogotá. Bogotá's Mayor Carlos Galán confirmed there were no reports of injuries or major structural damage, only some building cracks.
