Octopus Energy asks customers to cut power use during solar eclipse
Britain's biggest energy supplier wants customers to avoid using appliances between 6pm and 8pm this Wednesday. The solar eclipse will obscure as much as 95% of the sun, which will disrupt solar power during a heatwave. Octopus offers two free hours of electricity next weekend for those in its rewards programme.
