OpenAI tests new ads that open AI chat agents

OpenAI is testing a new advertising format for ChatGPT that replaces standard web links with conversational business agents. Instead of visiting an external website, users who click an ad start a direct chat tailored to that company. Entrepreneur Juozas Kaziukėnas first spotted the feature being tested for a small group of advertisers in the ChatGPT Ads Manager.
