Octopus Energy is giving households a chance to get free electricity and win £12,000 in cash this Wednesday, August 12. Customers who reduce their electricity use between 6pm and 8pm that evening will earn one hour of free electricity for Sunday, August 16. There is also a competition to win free solar panels or £12,000 cash by sharing an eclipse photo on social media.
