OBR warns UK inflation could reach 3%

British people might see inflation climb to 3 per cent, up from a 2 per cent forecast, if the Middle East conflict continues and energy costs stay elevated. The Office for Budget Responsibility gave this warning on Tuesday, citing a "very substantial" oil price surge. President Trump's statements about the war being "very complete" made crude oil prices drop below $90 a barrel.
