O2 upgrades 5G network across Oxfordshire for 450,000 residents

Virgin Media O2 has switched on its upgraded 5G+ standalone network across Oxford, Banbury, and Didcot, benefiting up to 450,000 residents in Oxfordshire. The upgrade, part of Virgin Media O2’s Mobile Transformation Plan, promises improved speeds, greater reliability, and reduced latency. The company's 5G+ network now covers over 85% of the UK population, with another major upgrade planned for 2026.
