Burnham overpromised on social housing, says former adviser

A former housing minister adviser, Rose Grayston, believes Prime Minister Andy Burnham has overpromised on social housing. She now works for the IPPR think tank after serving as an adviser until last year. Labour's pledge to build 1.5 million homes by the end of this parliament includes social housing, with a "hard backstop" of 2039.
