Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk announced plans to lower the United States list price of its diabetes drug Ozempic. The monthly cost for Ozempic will decrease to $675, which is about a third less than its current $1,027 price. These price reductions will begin on 1 January 2027 and will apply to all patients, regardless of insurance. Novo Nordisk aims to improve affordability and access for Americans.
