Northern Lights visible across UK may return Sunday night
On Friday and Saturday, the aurora borealis was observed across the UK, reaching as far south as Kent and Surrey. According to the Met Office, the Northern Lights might be seen again on Sunday and Monday night, particularly in Scotland, Northern Ireland, and northern England. Strong solar activity, with levels reaching 600nT on Saturday, made the rare widespread sightings possible.
