NHS flu admissions highest since 2022 with 3.9 million vaccinated

Hospital admission rates for flu are at their highest for this time of year since 2022, according to health chiefs. NHS medical director Prof Frankie Swords noted admissions are the highest she can remember for this period. Since the start of last month, 3.9 million people have received their flu vaccinations.
