NHS England will expand the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccine programme this year to include people aged 65 to 74 in specific clinical risk groups. The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation's advice prompted this change, which is set to commence on 1 September 2026. Those eligible will be contacted by their GP and need only one dose of the Abrysvo® vaccine.
