NHS A&E sees 80,000 daily attendances in record June.

The NHS is facing a "summer onslaught" as A&E departments experienced their busiest month on record in June, with average daily attendances exceeding 80,000 for the first time ever. Ambulance services across the country, including the East of England, have seen a significant rise in calls for life-threatening emergencies. Increased demand is due to the recent hot weather and the World Cup, leading to longer response times for some patients.
