New risk tool spots eight times more young breast cancer cases

Current guidelines miss most under-50 patients who develop the disease over ten years. Combining lifestyle and genetics, a tool by the Institute of Cancer Research and Cambridge University spots eight times more diagnoses. Nice welcomed the findings but stated current evidence does not warrant a policy change yet.
