A new iOS app called Carrier Pidge delivers messages using virtual carrier pigeons, with delivery times based on the real distance between users. Messages travel at 110 mph, meaning cross-country texts take hours and global ones take days. There is a 0.2% probability that each pigeon will become lost and perish, resulting in your message not reaching its destination.
