New home test makes bladder cancer diagnosis easier
Diagnosing bladder cancer is getting much easier and faster for patients, as NHS hospitals start using a new home urine test. This new Galeas test replaces uncomfortable hospital procedures, letting people provide a DNA-based urine sample at home instead. Five hospitals have already adopted this non-invasive test, and at least 16 more trusts will join by year-end.
