Nearly half of stroke patients get headaches

About 46% of people experience headaches following a hemorrhagic stroke, according to a new review. Researchers found that previous headache issues and being female were linked to a higher chance of developing these headaches. Experts say more research is needed to understand and treat these headaches better.
