Multiple people injured after crowd crush forces north London music festival to close
On Saturday, rescue workers hurried to Barnet's Copthall Playing Fields following severe congestion at the gate. Organisers of the Ghana Party in the Park event shut it down completely after people were hurt and carried away on stretchers. The Metropolitan Police confirmed that several attendees suffered non-life-threatening injuries and dismissed online rumours of a stabbing.
