Multiple Children Injured as School Bus Roof Torn Off in Lancashire Bridge Crash
On December 3, 2025, a school bus accident occurred in Coppull, Lancashire. At around 12:30 GMT, the double-decker, transporting pupils, collided with a bridge on Spendmore Lane, detaching the roof. Police, paramedics, and fire crews attended the incident. Lancashire Police have stated that several children received injuries, but these are not thought to be serious. Emergency personnel safely evacuated all the children. Reports suggest the pupils attend Wood Fold Primary School, located in Standish.
