Mona Khalil, 76, dies after Israeli strike

Mona Khalil, 76, was a Lebanese environmental activist who helped protect endangered sea turtles for over 25 years. She was wounded two weeks ago when her house on Mansouri beach in southern Lebanon was hit during Israeli attacks. Khalil died on Friday after several days in hospital, leaving a legacy of turning the coast into a vital nesting site.
