Microsoft's $190B earnings swing hinges on AI investments
The 6.6% expected share change shows markets are anxious about whether the firm's huge artificial intelligence investments are actually making money. Microsoft spent nearly $32 billion on capital projects last quarter alone, but its stock is down 18.7% this year over cost worries. Traders are also predicting a 7.8% price shift for rival technology firm Meta when it releases its own figures on Wednesday.
