Microsoft has now confirmed that its recent Windows 11 KB5120998 update is causing mouse cursors to disappear, change size, or reset to default settings. The optional update, rolled out a few days ago, also makes system wallpapers turn black after a restart. Users can fix these problems by uninstalling the KB5120998 update.
