A signed Chicago Bulls jersey worn by Michael Jordan in game two of the 1998 NBA Finals has sold for $14m (£10.6m), a record for basketball memorabilia. Miami property investor Ron Firman bought it privately through Hunt Auctions. It beats the $12.3m paid two weeks ago for Jordan's game-three shirt. Among all sports items, only Babe Ruth's 'called shot' jersey has ever sold for more.
