Meta smart glasses forbidden in all England and Wales courts
Courts in England and Wales have banned Meta glasses, which can record video, due to privacy concerns and fears they could be used for coaching. His Majesty’s Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) will confiscate the smart glasses from anyone entering judicial buildings. New York courts issued a similar ban last month, and a claimant was accused of using them for assistance in the High Court.
