Meta, Google can't block 3,000 addiction lawsuits, court rules
An American appeals court on Monday dismissed arguments that a 1996 internet law gives tech firms total protection against claims they intentionally hooked children. This decision also stops Meta from delaying a separate trial starting on Wednesday led by 29 states.
