Meera Syal Receives Damehood as Arts and Media Figures Honored in 2025 New Year Honours
Actress and comedian Meera Syal has been made a Dame for services to literature, drama and charity in the 2025 New Year Honours. Broadcaster Gabby Logan and author Richard Osman have both received OBEs, Logan for sports broadcasting and charity work, and Osman for literature and broadcasting following success with his Thursday Murder Club series. The honours recognize outstanding contributions across the entertainment industry.
