Canadian actor Martin Short confirmed the passing of his eldest child, Katherine, who worked as a social worker. Police sources told news outlets in Los Angeles that the 42-year-old’s death was an apparent suicide. Consequently, the star has delayed upcoming comedy performances with Steve Martin in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
