Canadian actor Martin Short confirmed the passing of his eldest child, Katherine, who worked as a social worker. Police sources told news outlets in Los Angeles that the 42-year-old’s death was an apparent suicide. Consequently, the star has delayed upcoming comedy performances with Steve Martin in Wisconsin and Minnesota. The family requested privacy while grieving the daughter Short adopted with his late wife.
