Man arrested after ex-minister Ann Widdecombe found dead with serious injuries

Police found Ann Widdecombe, a 78-year-old former UK minister, dead with serious injuries at her rural Devon home on Thursday. Officers were called just after midday and later arrested a 26-year-old British man in Newton Abbot. Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood paid tribute to her years of public service.
