Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood announced an urgent review into the security arrangements of prominent public individuals on Monday. The review follows the killing of Reform UK spokeswoman Ann Widdecombe in July and an alleged terror plot against Nigel Farage. Sir Stephen Lovegrove, former national security adviser, will head the independent review, expected to deliver findings within half a year.
