London's illegal rave scene is growing due to club closures
Young Londoners, numbering in the hundreds, convene at clandestine spots communicated through encrypted messages, where they dance in disused structures until dawn. The resurgence of illegal raves is happening because licensed clubs are closing, ticket prices are high, and security is getting stricter. According to a February report from the Night Time Industries Association, approximately 1,350 unauthorized parties and illicit raves take place annually.
