Londoners much safer than public believes, study finds
A new study reveals Londoners are much less likely to be crime victims than the public believes, with half wrongly thinking it has the highest violent crime rates. People estimated that 30% of London residents had been victims of crime over the past year, more than twice the actual figure of 12.2%. The findings by King's College London's Policy Institute challenge "London in decline" narratives.
