London to get days of rain next week after its driest July

Forecasters are predicting several days of rain for London starting next week, after England saw its driest July on record. Areas north of the capital received no rain, and south of the river just 1mm, leaving millions under a hosepipe ban. London cools down from its fifth heatwave of 2026, with temperatures dropping to 26C on Saturday.
