London ranked world's second best city for 2026
London has been named the second greatest city globally in the Oxford Economics' Global Cities Index for 2026, placing just behind New York. The report examined elements such as employment prospects, living standards, and ecological conditions in 1,000 major cities. London's strong economy and labour market helped it rank highly, though it slipped to 147th for quality of life due to high living costs.
