London new nurse jobs down 68% as applications rise sharply
Entry-level nursing jobs in London have plummeted, even as more students are training in the capital. The Royal College of Nursing found Band 5 roles dropped by 67.8% between 2019-20 and 2024-25. Almost three new nurses now compete for every advertised entry-level job in London.
