London Mayor Candidate Cleverly says that some Mayor Candidates 'Hate' the City
Sir James Cleverly, who is seeking the Conservative nomination for London mayor, criticised candidates who "obviously hate the city". Reform UK's mayoral candidate, Laila Cunningham, previously said London has "no safe parts" and her children are "petrified" to visit Shepherd's Bush. Cleverly also charged Prime Minister Andy Burnham with viewing London as a "cash cow" and "going to war with London."
