London Marathon might change its race date

The London Marathon is considering moving its annual calendar slot, which could mean different conditions for runners. Event CEO Hugh Brasher confirmed the race might shift its date to deal with warmer weather in the British spring. The 2025 event had temperatures near 22c, and the 2018 race set a heat record at 24.2c.
