Lion House in Woking will be demolished for a 76-bed care home

Woking Borough Council has approved the demolition of Lion House on Oriental Road for a new 76-bed care home. Developers say the facility will provide dignity for the increasing number of people with dementia. The new facility will also create up to 75 full-time jobs, including nurses and carers.
