Labour Wins Holborn and St Pancras By-Election

Labour's Sagal Abdi-Wali has held Holborn and St Pancras, Keir Starmer's former constituency, winning the by-election with 12,292 votes or 45 percent. Green Party leader Zack Polanski finished second on 8,928 votes, or 33 percent, leaving Labour a majority of 3,364 after a 13 percent swing from Labour to the Greens. Conservatives placed third. Polanski insisted he would remain as Green leader despite the defeat.
