Kushner and Kremlin Envoy Float a US Stake in Nord Stream

Senior US and Russian officials, including US special envoy Jared Kushner and Putin envoy Kirill Dmitriev, have discussed bringing an American investor into the idle Nord Stream gas pipelines, Reuters reports, citing five people familiar with the talks. A restart would currently be illegal under US and EU sanctions, and a US official said a deal is unlikely soon. Germany also opposes reopening the link.
