Peter Cullen, voice of Optimus Prime and Eeyore, dies aged 85

The Canadian actor, recognised for his deep voice, died quietly at his Los Angeles residence on Wednesday. Cullen started providing the voice of Optimus Prime in the 1984 Transformers TV series and carried on through seven Hollywood films, concluding in 2023. His voice work also included Eeyore in Disney's Winnie the Pooh series.
