Kids in England get free bus travel all August

Children aged five to 15 can travel free on most local buses across England throughout August. The Great British Summer Savings scheme forms part of a government initiative designed to alleviate financial burdens on households over the school holidays. The Department for Transport confirmed that under-16s will not pay for travel on most local bus services, with typical child fares ranging from £1 to £2.
