Jurgen Klopp becomes Germany's new national football coach

Jurgen Klopp, previously manager of Liverpool, has provisionally agreed with the German Football Association to take up the role of Germany's new head coach. Discussions in New York on Friday led to a breakthrough, and Klopp is anticipated to sign a contract valid through to the conclusion of the 2030 World Cup. He will replace Julian Nagelsmann, who left after Germany's World Cup last-32 exit.
