John Pickles, who created Jive Bunny, dies aged 84
John Pickles, who created the well-known novelty act Jive Bunny and The Mastermixers, passed away at 84. Jive Bunny was established by him in Rotherham in 1989, and the group achieved three UK chart-topping singles, one of which was "Swing The Mood". His company, Mastermix, called him "a true pioneer in the music industry" and a talented songwriter.
